Education and Libraries Community Service Program
We aim to help others, while we also continue to learn. Projects in the Education and Libraries Community Service Program are designed to foster schools, as well as other educational institutions and opportunities. These projects promote libraries, literacy, and the love of a good book. Through these efforts, we encourage the growth of individuals and communities at home and around the world.

Epsilon Sigma Omicron (ESO)

Epsilon Sigma Omicron (ESO) is an honorary educational society open to all per-capita paying GFWC federated club members. Over 75 years ago, the ESO program became a permanent part of the GFWC Education Department. Over the years, many GFWC clubwomen have profited from this unique self-improvement program, seen as vital by the members it directly benefits. The purpose of ESO is to provide GFWC members with a structural reading program, which is educational and stimulates a desire for self-improvement.

To participate in ESO, follow these simple steps:
Step 1: Complete an ESO Pledge Application:
Complete and submit an ESO Pledge Application Form
Step 2: Read books or listen to audio books. You can read any book. For suggestions of books in the various categories, see the reading suggestion lists.
Step 3: Submit book reports to the ESO Chairwoman. Linked below are PDF, Microsoft Word, and Excel Spreadsheet reporting options. For alternative methods of reporting, please contact Janine.
