Getting Started
Meet and discuss the project with your club. Will you work on EMSC as an individual club, in combination with another club, or as a District? How many EMS departments do you want to impact? Discuss ways to raise funds.
Think about PR opportunities and use them. (OJWC was able to use the media blitz with phone calls to new residents to more than double their membership).
Decide when to approach your chosen EMS department(s). Who is the contact person? Are they willing? How many ambulances do they have and what level of EMS? (See Sample Call to EMS).
