Objective: Clubs will implement ARTS projects, programs, and advocacy, based on the interests and needs determined by the club members. Club reports will describe members' ARTS projects and highlight their creativity and involvement in supporting the ARTS in their community.

Helen Farnsworth Mears Art Contest: Chairman - Shirley Mattox
Implemented at the GFWC-WI club, district, and state levels, this annual art contest for 7th and 8th grade studentsk, public, private, and home-schooled, is unique to GFWC-WI. It was begun in 1927 to honor the memory of this great woman sculptor born in Wisconsin, to encourage artistic talent, and to recognize the achievement of student artists.

These contests are open to any dues paying club member of the GFWC-WI who is an amateur (making less than $500.00 annually on crafts) and makes items for a hobby.

| Member Photography Contests: Chairmen - Sue LaBuda
These contests are open to any dues paying club member of the GFWC-WI who is an amateur (making less than $500.00 annually on photography) and takes photographs for a hobby. State winners of "The World in Pictures" and "GFWC Volunteers in Action" Photography Contests will be sent on for national judging annually. "A Year in Pictures" (Calendar Contest) is only a national contest and is sent directly to GFWC Headquarters by May 1, 2011 and 2012.
