GFWC COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT AWARD
As your clubs kick off the new club year, you will be looking for a special project. Look no further than the GFWC Community Improvement Program Award (CIPA). Virtually any existing club project can develop into a CIPA. Identify and assess the needs of your community; partner with other organizations or agencies in your municipality; check out the planning tools in the 2012-2014 GFWC manual under Awards, Contests and Grants or click on the link below. The first prize (to be awarded in June, 2014) is $5,000, but the gratification of making a needed contribution would be priceless. Any size club can be a winner! So go out and “Make a Difference”.
