Helen Farnsworth Mears Art Contest:

Implemented at the GFWC-WI club, district, and state levels, this annual art contest for 7th and 8th grade students, public, private, and home-schooled, is unique to GFWC-WI.  It was begun in 1927 to honor the memory of this great woman sculptor born in Wisconsin, to encourage artistic talent, and to recognize the achievement of student artists.
