Crafting for the Community |

State Chairman: Jan Flood There are many things we, as individuals, can do to support and contribute to our communities, our state, and around the world. Explore opportunities for individual involvement. Empowered women -- one by one, and hand in hand -- can make a difference. Encourage each other, do what you can -- in little and big ways -- to contribute toward improving the quality of life . . . for many . . . for a few . . . maybe for just one other person. It all matters. Compiled in the Crafting for the Comminity booklet are craft patterns for projects that take a hands-on approach to solving problems or fulfilling needs -- in our own communities, and around the world. These are things you can do yourself, or with friends, or in your clubs. This is but a small sampling of the many “hands-on” projects Clubwomen can accomplish. We encourage clubs to create their own list of resources, and share them with other clubs through Wisconsin Clubwoman Magazine. Any size club can participate. Clubs can partner with other organizations and guilds to fulfill a need. Consider sharing time and skills with youth, or elders, working together to improve the lives of all. We all have special skills that we can work with to make a difference in our communities. One by one, hand in hand -- for many, for a few, for just one. It all matters.
