Gerri Strege is the current GFWC-WI Corresponding Secretary.  She is a relative newcomer to GFWC having joined the Hartland Woman's Club in 1998, serving immediately in the capacity of Conservation Chairman.  Gerri served as the club's first vice president from 2000-02 and as its president from 2002-04.  She has just completed her service as the Hartland Woman's Club Immediate Past President, the 5^th District's Corresponding Secretary/Treasurer and Conservation Chair and GFWC-WI's Conservation Department-Beautification Program chairman.

            Beyond club work, Gerri is very active in her church as a lector, Parish Council member and worker bee in both the RCIA and CRHP programs.  She works full time as an office manager for a small electrical distributor, completing accounting responsibilities as well.  Gerri is married to Keith and have three grown sons.  Her family extends to two daughters-in-laws and two granddaughters who have given her much joy.  In Gerri's free time she enjoys the great outdoors-taking walks with husband and dogs, boating, fishing, being with friends, and "doing nothing".
